Sports Bar (Weekend Reflections # 308)

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

I took this shot on a very hot day. It was so hot that I decided to take a short-cut through a sports bar that is located above the train station.  I was rewarded with a wonderful blast of cool air and a cool reflection to boot.  I probably should have moved the menu from the bar because it obscured the reflection of the couple on the left. Oh well, I had to catch a train.  :-)

Have a great weekend!

Note: Weekend Reflections will be on auto-pilot next week.

This is the place to see and share reflections. Click the rules tab above for more information.  A Reflection =  An image given back by a reflecting surface.  A PHOTOGRAPH of a REFLECTION or REFLECTIONS.

What we do for a blast of cool air when it's very hot! But at least you have a clever reflection to show for:) Now if you wouldn't have said anything about that menu I would not have known...have a wonderful weekend!

You need to take shortcuts more often! I've run out of reflections at the moment...

You may be the only person I know who goes into a bar for fresh(cool) air. But, like you said, it was meant to be because you captured this weeks reflection and a great one it is. Hope you caught your train ... but, of course. if you had missed it you knew where you could go to wait for the next one, yes? Great job as always, James ...

Très joli endroit et beau cliché ! Il n'y a pas en France de bars vraiment dédiés au sport.

bon weekend,

Nice reflections! Don't feel bad about that menu being in the way. A bit of asymmetry adds interest to any scene!

glad you got some relief and got your reflection shot. I was at a sports bar once years ago- too noisy for my taste, but the food was tasty.
